Marketing Herefordshire's Tourism Recovery
We're proud to announce that we've been appointed to lead a new destination marketing campaign for Herefordshire as part of an exciting new project which aims to boost the county's tourism recovery.
The work is part of a £440,000 campaign being funded by the Marches Local Enterprise Fund. A dedicated Steering Group has been appointed and chaired by Jo Hilditch of White Heron Properties with members including representatives from Herefordshire Council, the Herefordshire Business Board as well as individuals from a cross-section of tourism businesses.
Our marketing plan will include a visual facelift for the Visit Herefordshire brand, some creative campaigns and a new web presence. We've already begun engaging with local businesses to get their ideas and feedback, which we know is essential for a meaningful and sustainable campaign. We're delighted to be collaborating with our friends at Rural Media, who will be key in our engagement and creative strategy and, of course, will be creating some excellent video to promote our beautiful county. We'll also be working closely with Travel Tonic, a specialist travel PR consultancy based near Ross on Wye, who has been appointed to lead PR and social media.
