Are you someone with ‘a book in me’? The good news is that there has never been a better time to make that book happen.

The reason is digital printing. In the past aspiring authors may have been deterred by the high costs of getting to press and what may to the printer represent a ‘viable print run’ may have constituted years of stock for the would-be author.

With our Indigo digital press the whole book is printed one at a time, collated and ready for binding (usually perfect binding). Where previously ‘viable’ may have been 500 or 1,000 the figure can be as low as you need, so books just for family and friends can be produced to ‘real’ book standards.

Of course it is still important to present your book as attractively as possible and we are always happy to advise on cover design and page layout. The growth in short run book printing has been variously bracketed under the headings ‘vanity publishing’ or ‘self publishing’;  we are just pleased we can offer frustrated authors a very satisfying path to the book they always wanted to write.
