We can't promise to help but will consider all requests as favourably as possible.Locally we recognise the marvellous charitable works of the Air Ambulance and its volunteers who have saved so many lives following accidents on our roads. We are also proud to be Trustees of SANCHAT, an orphanage for boys and girls in a town close to Nairobi in Kenya. Their new website (sanchat.org) gives some impression of the fantastic work of this charity and their volunteers. We have seen first hand the care and life changing skills and educational benefits they provide to the children, benefits which will be shared by their community. SANCHAT is one charity where your donation can do so much to directly improve the lives of children many of whom have been born into unimaginable poverty, neglect and abuse. Helen and her daughter have been to Gilgil to visit the schools and the restart centre twice in recent years and help provide funding and design and marketing resource in between.  For more information about how you can help the work of sanchat please email helen@orphans.co.uk
