We have a very strong belief in the importance of design to every website. Based on a clear understanding of your brief our designers can develop the appropriate mix of technical and graphic design.

Probably because of our print heritage we attach importance to layout and type so everything we design is prepared with care. Invariably good copy and photography make such a difference to many sites - if you need support in either we are pleased to help. Before we build anything we present our visual ideas either via email/web or in printed form. You will see sufficient proof pages to grasp the feel we are proposing and how the site navigation works before we commit to any extensive code writing.

This is a key stage in every project. We need our customers to be excited about the designs ... and usually they are!

Once a design has been approved it is passed over to our developers who have a lot of experience in realising the visuals in a web enviroment. While many developers see the inherent restrictions of web-technology as factors that can limit design posibilities, this is most certainly not a philosopy at Orphans. We strive to make no design compromises for the sake of making things easy for ourselves!
