New Lease Of Life for National Treasure

The Royal British Society of Sculptors were feeling a little left behind. Similarly august organisations such as the RA had grasped the nettle sooner by implementing contemporary branding yet still completely at one with their rich history. We were invited to tender for re-branding along with a number of London agencies (the bookies favourites). The brief was clear. The evidence was stark. This was a great organisation which needed a radical new look.

What's New

We began our pitch bravely with the notion that maybe we could trim the Society’s name, just a wee bit? We were delighted to be awarded the project and excitedly set to work on a new look for The Royal Society of Sculptors (all agreed that ‘British’ was still inferred from ‘Royal’).

Once we set to work on the new look it was agreed we should in tandem design an updated website. Our design team relished the opportunity to work with a brand all about shape and form. We created very contemporary branding and website proposals, using shape to the full and connecting assets to project a sense of vibrant energy and passion. The new identity sets the tone but all parts of the Sculptors brand share this spirit. Printed collateral is given a striking edge through clever cutting or folding. Simple, yet highly effective and totally on brand.

What's Changed

The new branding catapulted the organisation forward so naturally created a stir for members and patrons alike. But it has been the most positive stir, and now the Society has a spring in it's step, and a renewed sense of confidence in it's presentation and communications to the outside world.
